An absolutely glorious cake! A hit with everyone who tried it. One of my friends, a famous chef, told me it was one of the best they have eaten.

I think the recipe can use a lot of adjustments:
-FAR less sugar. Used about 1/3rd of the sugar for most tasks.
-Olive oil instead of butter
-More cream cheese and heavy cream is needed than stated in recipe
-I dont feel the alcohol/making the syrup is necessary. It needlessly complicates the recipe and makes it more expensive than it should be.
But apart from this, excellent.
